David Miller I have been fly fishing for over twelve years and was driven to the sport through my early love of hunting and fishing as a boy. The idea of sharing that excitement with others while being continually challenged by something I love to do is what made me decide to become a fishing guide in the first place. In my own words, "It's not a glamorous job but I love it and it keeps me on the water year after year with some pretty interesting people" and spending a day with me is interesting to say the least. In my spare time, when not fly fishing for my own personal best's, I enjoy duck hunting and wing shooting with friends.
Tim Shelly I am a native of Atlanta growing up in the Marietta area. I began the art of fly fishing while living in upstate New York in 1981, fishing the Finger Lakes area. I have fished the Appalachian chain from the Adirondacks to the Chattahoochee River. My daily life is a Financial Center Manager finding solace on the beautiful Toccoa River in North Georgia as a guide with Steve Lamb, aka “The Lambster”. I met Steve in a local fly shop and we quickly became friends. Steve has taught me several tips in the art of nymphing and in working streamers. I was relatively new to the art of fly tying and he has been very helpful in sharing his years of experience. We have had many laughs in his studio tying “bugs” and swapping fishing stories. I have been sharing expertise as a part time guide with Steve for a little over a year helping clients to experience the “quiet sport” and to learn many aspects of the art of fly fishing while never losing sight of the fact that having fun is the primary reason to be out there on the water.
